Hello to All !!
This is a more formal introduction well with a little humor sprinkled in between,
and everywhere Lancier goes so do I ... you could say I his shadow every move ... LOL
Lancier and I have crossed swords on the field of Mars before.
Our interests are similar: the light cavalry of course; He with France I with Austria well
...Austria's etranger troops under the auspice of my brave captain Bussy, hence the name
Bussy Jager zu Pferd, the service regiment I think I would join....from which I borrowed my nickname
zu Pferd or zu for my friends.
Officially I am Fanrich Eduardo Visconte,(NWC) born in Milan, Italy , July, 5 , 1952.

I enjoy my horse and my blade a good pipe tobacco and sleep under the stars all the time (as the
provost marshal does !)... preferably under a lean-to if the weather should turn damp....ah ah ah.
I'm an agreeable old man. My family roots are in Toscana (Empoli) and Campania (Naples) and my
mothers roots are from Sicily her father side so I can easily "fly off the cuff"occasionally with or without motive ho ho ho ... LOL
My grandfather Eduardo died in the German-Italian retreat from Ancona in WWII.
I have been a citizen of Canada since 1974 and it is now my adopted country.

I love to read Austen for romance in the Napoleonic period  and Zamoyski for the "face of war,"
Larry Gonick for the humorous side of History.
I'm a book worm and its closer to being an addiction.

Victory Games: 1809 some other board games are available on Vassal and Cyberboard; these have made up as well as J Tiller the bulk of my scenario, maps, and oob's for HistWar and will continue to do so, as well as other jems from Prado and other miniature fellaheen .
I do collect and paint miniatures as well  25mm Hinchliffe and Baccus 6mm. Currently working of a diorama to depict the Battle of Marengo with Baccus 6mm...the project has been stalled since JMM launched Histwar Les Grognards.

So i see Foot Guards lose his Austrian general, Zu is moving to BC ?  as 1 officer can be in 1 team as official member ?

Ok Zu you're welcome ! But to be sure and to not have a misunderstood you "belong" to our family as long as you want so if you want to change your mind, and let us for an other team you just have to tell us, it's not a problem. 
But if you want to still free playing with other teams it's always possible for you, you declare yourself as free player ( friend of the Bc) , and you can still in FG as member.
But we are happy of your coming.

I will stay in Batt Carre as a player/ Allied Coalition.
I am officially in Foot Guards as a member.
I can see that having membership in both clubs might land me
in trouble waters or a bad vat of red wine  
as membership requirements in both would definitely be impossible
to retain or maintain even with dispensations....

example : B C needs me as a player vs a different club other then F G, to
command a division...

I want to stay in B Carre as a casual player  

I understand Zu must choose a side, and this can be difficult! 
However, we are delighted to see you come as casual player!

Bonjour, j'ai fait l’acquisition de HWN, un projet que je voulais soutenir depuis longtemps ayant suivi la création des grognards ; mais n'ayant qu'un ordi apple à l'époque, j'ai seulement regardé sans pouvoir jouer ! J'avoue être un peu perdu en tant que nouveau, et je ne serais pas contre découvrir avec des plus expérimentés comment profiter pleinement de cette simulation exceptionnelle mais pas forcément facile d'accès.
